A character who traveled to the past to hear a long lost language to study it and hears only that. They are then forcefully sent back to their time and when they go to ask the technicians what happened they find all of them in a state of panic since they are now locked out of the technology because of an old software. Which seemed to just appear a few moments ago, with no known history.
