One Way Pendulum (1965)
This is the film version of the play we are rehearsing and adapting at the moment. N.F. Simpson's One Way Pendulum is a classic absurdist comedy that some say inspired Monty Python.
I'm helping edit some of the script right now, for a Czech audience. What hard work! Hopefully we will pull it off. I would really love to get my hands on a copy of the DVD, seems to be hard to come by...
Maybe a little addicted to work?
This happens every time I get some holidays, after a few days I start to feel a bit restless. My Director has given me Act 2 of One Way Pendulum to edit. Thank god. It's always a bit of a comfort to know that I am not as lazy as I think I am.
I've never been one for relaxing on a holiday. I'm more the active type. But something tells me that if I learnt to relax properly then maybe there would be less stress in my life? Any suggestions? I can't take baths, I find them so so boring. I have issues with massages, I always laugh. Reading relaxes me, but I can only do that so much before I get bored.
