And screw Jordan for pulling that out, because Stiles knows he’s being genuine about it. Mostly because Jordan has never been anything less than one hundred percent genuine in his entire life. It’s not like Stiles doesn’t know that both his place and, well, himself are a mess. He just doesn’t know what to do about it. “You need to talk to Peter,” Jordan says, and maybe he’s guessing, but maybe he’s not. Maybe Stiles is really that obvious. But if Stiles were that obvious and Peter also wasn’t saying anything to him - No. He can’t go down that road. He can’t start making assumptions about why Peter may or may not be talking to him about the thing between them, because Peter could have his own reasons, and it’s not fair for Stiles to just assume that the answer is that Peter doesn’t want him back. It’s not fair, and Stiles doesn’t want it to be the truth. “Stiles. Seriously. Talk to Peter. Stop just - torturing yourself, and overthinking, or doing whatever’s going on in your head right now. Just talk to him. Tell him how you feel. It’s not - it’s not worth it, holding it all in. It’s one thing to say you’re waiting for the right time, but that’s not what this is, and I think you know that.” “Has anyone ever told you how annoying it is when you’re right all the time like that?” Jordan has the absolute audacity to just start laughing at him. Stiles really wishes it was easier to hate the guy, but he also knows that he'll never find it in himself to actually hate the human ray of sunshine that is Jordan Parrish. Stiles really doesn't know how he reels people like this in to be his friend - first Scott, then Kira, and now Jordan. It's one of life's great mysteries. He'd say that maybe opposites do attract, but he and Peter are far too alike for him to want to drop that line.  "Look, I'm coming down for your graduation party. Just - do me a favor and talk to Peter and work things out before then, alright? And maybe get started on getting this place cleaned up and packed. It'll work out, Stiles, I promise. You just have to put it out there. Isn't knowing better than not knowing? You're an academic; I'd think the pursuit of truth would be a big deal for you." "Goodbye, Jordan, thanks for the unsolicited advice," Stiles walks him towards the door, then softens. "But I'm glad you're coming for the grad party. I am glad we're friends, you know, even if it is incredibly irritating how you're right all the time."
