Got a locket in my pocket,
With a picture of you,
My most precious possession,
My most favourite view.
The kindest soul I know,
Has been cheated of her love,
Gave her heart and more,
Until all was not enough,
If there is justice,
It is far,
In lands where love is soft,
I wish she could have settled there,
She deserved more than she lost.
Orbit
You were magnetic,
A star so bright and full of life,
I never stood a chance,
Unable to pull away,
A final violent dance.
My heart ablaze,
The ozone burns,
A meteoric crash,
All of you turned all of me,
To misery and ash.
Anything but Entropy
Kindness is a choice,
For which I've dearly bled,
And perhaps I am naïve,
But I'm not done bleeding yet,
If pain is what I risk,
Then hurt me hundredfold,
I will die a warm man if I must,
The world is much too cold.
In search of warmth
I found a fire,
Burning blue,
That with it's flicker,
Filled my view,
For hours on,
It's flames performed,
And I hadn't noticed,
I'd not been warmed.
We're both stars,
You the sun and I Arcturus,
As you rise I fade away,
I, the night and you, the day,
So in darkness I must wonder,
How some claim this makes me fonder,
All it does is bring me pain,
When will I see the sun again?
A day so full of daffodils,
Choked in a floral flood,
Petals rob me of the sun,
Their roots drink of my blood,
Slowly I am withering,
Fading as flowers bloom,
Beauty will be the death of me,
At least I'll sleep some soon.
Sleep Schedule
Rise with the moon,
Set at sunrise,
Falling deeper,
Drowning in dark skies,
Time is melting,
Don't know the date,
Days are bleeding,
Is it really too late?
