I don't know if anyone else noticed, but breaking news: I figured out what's the deal with our dear seeker's hair. If you look at her tarot card, it's clearly a pixie cut with a hairband, just like Aveline (but in-game it's darker and ends up looking like a braid so it's very confusing???) Anyway, this has been keeping me awake at night, but now I can finally rest lmao
img ref for anyone wondering. Ahaha I managed to deal with it by believing deep in my heart that it was definitely an Aveline-band, LOL, cause the alternative.. na man

iirc elves were taller in DA2 than in DAO so I guess they’re keeping that trend. shame, I like the short elves. either way it’s not super strange, elf design has changed several times now. here’s hoping they’ve settled on i now.
Anonymous said:So about the pre order bonuses. Will the various in game pre order bonuses be available in game without pre ordering the game, but later in the game, or will they be released later as DLC?
I don’t think the pre-order bonuses will be available later in the game, that kind of defeats the point of it being a pre-order bonus. they may be released later as DLC though, that’s quite a common thing for game developers to do (and is one of the reasons why people who hate video game pre-order culture hate it)
zachunamatata said: do people have early copies of da:I??? thank you!
I’m assuming you’re asking because of the abundance of new gameplay vids that have surfaced. Some people (like certain game reviewers on YouTube) were sent copies of the game to unbox and play to review. Other people (certain BioWare-focused YouTubers for example) were invited by BW to come and play the game for a few hours. other people will have early access to the game because of EA Early Access from Nov 13 on XBox One.
Anonymous said: Hey, just wondering if you know, but I submitted a poster for the competition by emailing it to the bioware address that was linked when you click on any ‘submit here’ button (e.g on the DA:I site) - was that the correct method of submission? Thank you anyway!
According to this page you were supposed to “Submit your entry by November 3, 2014 to: [email protected]”, so if that’s what you did, then you should be fine.
Anonymous said: Bit of speculation- I’m replaying DA2 to satiate the DAI anticipation & I saw something interesting. When you return to the mountaintop altar on Sundermount in act 2 and kill some random spawnlings and a mad lone mage, the altar now has a green burning fire on it. Might be nothing, but I thought suddenly how much it looked like Veilfire. My brain went; Flemeth ritual location + green veil tear/fade magic= YES, I totally wouldn’t put it past her! Maybe co incidence. T’would be awesome if not!! :D
I don’t think it was Flemeth that tore the hole in the veil but I don’t doubt that she is somehow involved in the events of DA:I! also on sundermount there was some cool shit about Mythal, I think Mythal will tie in to DA:I in some way
eqzitara said: Thanks for posting so often. Just a warning to stop following so closely as of the 13th. People with 6 hours of gameplay [maybe even repeatable] with no filter is just too much.
You’re welcome, thanks for visiting. Thanks for the tip :) I know - from the EA Early Access on XBone. Some of the vids from reviewers lately already have been too spoilery for me (ex. AngryJoe), so I definitely won’t be following peoples’ early access playthroughs. I’ve blacklisted a bunch of tags and won’t be on Tumblr as much for a while from the 13th onwards.
Anonymous said: Ever since Blackwall was introduced, I’ve always been kind of curious… Is “Blackwall” his first name, last name, or is it just a nickname that the wardens gave him?! I don’t know if any information has been released on this or not from BioWarw… Probably not haha, but I was just wondering if you knew? Same with the Iron Bull… I can’t imagine that’s his “actual” name.
My guess is Blackwall is his surname. No info has been given from BW on that subject iirc (though I could be wrong, part of my brain is telling me there was a dev tweet telling us we’d find out his first name in game…), but part of World of Thedas says “An address by Warden-Constable Blackwall of Val Chevin to his recruits, 9:30 Dragon.” I don’t think they’d call him Warden-Constable Nickname in that context. Iron Bull wasn’t always known as the Iron Bull. As an agent of the Ben-Hassrath he will have a Qunari name (his position). I expect we’ll learn what this is in game. He was told by his qunari superiors to set up a mercenary company, take jobs from nobles, and pass information back to the Qunari. “The Iron Bull” is his mercenary front/persona afaik.

I don’t know of any dates currently. There may be or it may be possible up until the last day (talking about normal editions here). It may depend on individual retailers.. I think you should be fine pre-ordering Deluxe on Nov 8th, that’s plenty of time.
Anonymous said: I watched Angry Joe’s video. He seems pretty positive. So does lady insanity, and Gamespot as well. I watched a couple of others too but I had to skim through it to just know what they think of it and to avoid spoilers. Only two were some what negative in some terms but they did had a good time. It’s great to know this game is getting positive feedback. I’m predicting 9/10’s and 10/10’s!!! lol
He's sometimes pretty harsh (tho not as harsh as ZP) so if he’s positive about a game, it’s a good sign! I had to skim through his vid yea because it was pretty spoilery. We’re at the point near launch now where I no longer closely follow every single vid that comes out because of spoilers (whereas before I’d cross-analyze every frame, LOL). Most reviews/previews etc that I’ve come across have been very positive, yeah. I’d say it’s about 95-5 positive-negative. It’s definitely a good feeling knowing it’s getting good feedback yea, especially after ME3 ending and DA2. I’m confident it will be a great game with good ratings.
