And boom we have a 2 year old!

Being home is difficult as it is and we have been trying our best to just stay positive.

Of course today was not easy for me mentally. I have always been huge on birthdays, always trying to out do the last. So imagine my heartbreak when we had to cancel my baby's 2nd birthday party and we couldn't surround ourselves with family. I cried a lot today! After my meltdown I was able to pull myself together and do this for my baby! I stayed up until about 4am making her birthday shirt & decorating.

In the morning she woke up and walked around the house just saying WOW. She loved it!

The rest of the day was great! She helped me make her birthday cake while singing happy birthday.

Our family was able to join us through video chat, which took forever to get up cause of all our "old people" but it was worth every min.

Its moments like that I live for!

If this virus hadnt happened then I probably would have just brought her a cake and wouldn't have the wonderful memory of her helping me bake. A bitter sweet moment. #silverlining
