When you feel like it's your last breath... Well it wasn't

I survived ... Today, I did something that I needed to do to get myself back to where I was... Today, I conquered my fear of an 'accident.' Today I said,"Fuck It!" and just hit the road in front of me. Today, I was re-born with my bike...

They say once scared always scared. I say once overcome, then you're back to the start. Today, after approximately 5 weeks of my very first horrifying accident, I became one with the bike and the road again. I'm a complex person, to me, it was a fear I though I'd never overcome, but, I proved myself wrong today. I took the high road and literally I took the highway and just let go and became one again!

From a nice Saturday night scene with friends and particularly a special someone who recently walked into my life to the highway on the way to a destination my friend and I had not known. We went for a ride to the other side of town called Virar, which believe you me is a pretty big deal. Keeping a constant speed of around 45 km/hr, we hit the highway witnessing a death defying accident of another rider, on a 220 CC motorcycle, crashing straight into a pole and crashing straight to the ground. Shit happens but hey! we moved on! On reaching our destination we had another couple of drinks and well let's just say it was soothing as I finally received a peace of mind! I have the confidence to hit the road with absolutely no fear... I guess it was an inevitability that I would reach this point again. I'm grateful to my friend that he came along side with me and he brought the rider back in me. I guess things like these were already planned by a higher power, its just that I'll only experience it in time to come...

Till then, I think I've got a whole lot of life experiences ahead of me... Lets just say for now, I'm glad to have the rider back!
