The Dark Happy
Circa. 2014. The sky was blacker than it could possibly get. Waves of stars dancing like tiny insects. The wind blew calm and the trees stood still. Staring into the great beyond like that of a Sci-Fi thriller. Space ships and glorious vessels descending onto the precipice of a dying seed, ready to plunge and give heed to the dark energies that trot and dance ready for battle. Then, cold and heartless, eyes opened wide, distant beyond comprehension, but speaking in simple tongues. Staring into the beyond and ignoring primary heed; the trees begin to light up and dance around with cosmic energy from the titans above, radiating into what they understand to be the unknown. Radiation rose higher and the great white chancellor in the sky burned with the passion for the distant eyes that is the darkness. Like a blazing ball of supreme undisturbed light, one could only dream of such a connection. Cosmic waves through space and time touched down on the cold surface and gave birth to the dark shadows that lurked in silence. From the ground, up they stood and the eyes grew brighter. A message in energy radiated that battlefield, a message that is not for any kin. The guards stood strong with their mighty armor, but stood still in respect of the mighty darkness that would stay in the distance. Standing there, fearless and out of control, with no clue of what should be done next, the embrace of the mud taking over, filtering a very precise message, one that would shackle the very fibre of humanity for ages to come. Sinking in deeper and deeper, a knowledge had been gained, something so intricate, so benevolent, so intense, so difficult to comprehend was unfolding. A different call, a sign possibly that wasn’t meant to be interpreted by any living soul. The sky grew darker than what had seemed already “pretty” dark. One would think that the great God of Light would not return. The trees continued to twist and turn and the lights kept on dancing. What seemed to be glimmering lights and shadows turned into apparitions of the first kind, confusing, yet real. At this point, reality seemed like a shackled riff in some black space. The vessels in the sky were now joined by their brethren from the distant galaxies away, all seemed in motion, ready to set the world a fire that would run through the very fabric of our history. A paralyzing view yet enriching with the same knowledge as that of the dark mother, screaming in despair. Sooner or later, the price will have to be paid. Then, in the distance of the path, a small voice. One that seemed too cool to be in that place at that time. It was a little girl in white; she stood there and watched. She watched as the planet prepared itself for a new beginning, one that couldn’t be comprehended onto newer horizons. The great chancellor had now disappeared, only his royal guard stood until the fire began to rise.
