One Liter Limited
1ℓimit faucet looks like the fanciest test tube flipped upside down on top of a tap if we have ever seen one! This glass tube holds precisely one liter of water, made for quick hand washing. The whole concept behind this is that we waste about six liters of water and only really use one while we wash our hands! How crazy is that!? Ultimately, this type of faucet would be welcome in any bathroom, as that is where you're mostly washing hands, but we would love to see this faucet in the kitchen and the shower too! Can you imagine how much differently we would consume water if it was physically limited? We know we don't have unlimited sources of water, yet we sure treat it so! Once you have used up the one-liter of water, the user has to turn the tap off until the next one liter fills the tube up. A brilliant idea on rationing water, we really hope this starts up conversations that lead to other environmental and economically friendly designed products just like this. We want to see faucets like this in Lowes, Home Depot, in ever sink section all over, so we can really start to see a change in our water consumption. Designers: Yonggu Do, Dohyung Kim & Sewon Oh
