"MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!" Lor shouted, almost complaining, getting ready to tattle on her dad. She ran to go find her mother.
Lilah was in their shared office. “Lor I’m in the office.” Lilah called out.
Gabe called out and then ran to the spot in the wall where he could put his face in for pets. His face was enclosed in the cage, eyes flicking to her. He chittered and purred, trying to coax her over to give him a pat on the nose.
When he came to where she could pet him... She blinked. He... Wanted... Pets? Why did this feel like a trap?
Still, the handler moved over to Gabe and gingerly reached out her hand, allowing him to definitely catch her scent, before she stroked over his scales gently. She hadn't had much contact like this with the raptors after her incident with one of the girls. Her scars still showed from that day.
"You're being very good, Gabe. Thank you," she said calmly. Was he turning into her therapy raptor? Possibly.
Gabe did a polite growl, almost purring to her. He walked up to the bars, tilting his head and watching her. He called out again, seeing what she would do.
The woman stepped closer and looked at him. She knew this creature was dangerous, but she still wanted him to know that he could be handled and taken care of. "Hey. Do you want me to get you anything? I can try to get things for you. I deal with the herbivores, remember?"
Gabe screeches a greeting of hello to one he recognized as friend.
Alex jumped a bit at the familiar screech, the panic coming up. But she turned around anyway. "Oh! Gabe! Hi there," she greeted. "Oh it's been a while. I've missed you."

Gabe has been told that it is his master's birthday. Finding little party hats and tries to put one on. It doesn't work very well since the string does get around the top part of his mouth but only at the cost of the hat getting shredded. He tromps into the house and roars his version of 'Happy Birthday' once he finds Theo. ~onemindwithmanymuses
Stomping and crashing through the house alerted Theo to the presence of the raptor. Quickly the sailor scurried into the kitchen to see Gabe hanging out there with a half chewed party hat. “Aw bud, you wanna party too? Come on!” He settled the hat a little straighter on the dinosaur’s head.
Dexter found the exhibit again and climbed onto the ship, swinging from the mast.
He smiled up at the small primate. “Do you plan to stay up there all night Dexter? Come on down, I’ll find you a snack.”
Gabe screeches a greeting.
Alex jumped a bit, still not completely used to the raptors after the incident. She’d been working on it, but things like that still startled her. “Was that necessary?” She asked the raptor, after she calmed down. “You want me to drop to the ground at some point again don’t you?”

Gabe screeches, looking for Groves. He wanted rats and pets. ~onemindwithmanymuses
“I hear a hungry raptor!” Theo ducked in through the front door and held out triumphantly a dinner for Gabe. “rats and chicken, part of every good meal.”
