I Lied, Not a Fortnite Post :)
As you probably guessed from the photo above, this is gonna be yet another Destiny 2 post. I’m sorry but I’m also not sorry, there is nothing interesting going on with the other games at the moment. Other than R6 but there are some things going on with that, which I might get to eventually. But this time in Destiny 2, I actually went through a quest line. A very very hard one. This quest is of course no other than “Shock and Denial”. Which gets you the “Luna’s Howl” and at the end the “Not Forgotten” hand cannons
So what’s so great about these guns and what makes the quest line so hard? Well random voices in Presley’s head, I’ll get to that right now. So after the Launch of the Forsaken, the crucible has seen a large increase of people using hand cannons competitively; and currently, the Luna’s Howl is arguably one of the best of them. This is because of its insanely high rate of fire (for a hand cannon) and the perks that go along with it that work well with what makes the gun great like “Zen Moment” seen above.
The Shock and Denial quest line is one of the hardest to tackle in game currently. It is very time consuming and if wanted to be completed within a somewhat reasonable amount of time requires pretty great skill. So right off the bat, the first step is to complete 10 competitive matches. This took a while and was probably one of the most boring parts of it. Thankfully though it doesn’t require a victory to count towards the quest. After completing this part, you are then tasked to get about 200 final blows (kills) with hand cannons in the crucible. After that you are then tasked with Another 200 kills this time any solar weapon (which is a bit easier). Both took fairly long considering about 10% completion in a single game requires 20 kills. After that, you have to just complete 3 rumble matches (free for all) which is the easiest and quickest part of it by far.
So after all this, you might think oh well it’s finally over. WRONG WRONG WRONG, you must get another 200 hand cannon kills this time all head shots! Which is probably the hardest part about the entire thing. I did forget to say that after the rumble matches, you must reach rank “Fabled” in competitive. Which takes FOREVER iekflfnwlfnslwmqlwvejdkwmald. Thankfully though, I do consider myself a pretty primarily competitive player so I already have had it for a while.
The picture above just represents the amount you need to kill a game to get a decent percentage covered a game. But after the headshots Shaxx calls us and we finally get the Luna’s Howl. However this isn’t the end of the quest. After getting the Luna’s Howl, we must then start to grind for the Not Forgotten. The easiest way to sum up this monster of a gun is basically the Luna’s Howl’s bigger meaner and eviler brother.
Most notable differences though are the large increase in range and target acquisition. But preference over whichever weapon is (I’ve heard) dependent on play style. I was only fortunate enough to devote my weekends time getting the Luna’s Howl. Not the Not Forgotten, but soon. I will say though I am actually pretty proud of myself as not a lot of players actually even have the Luna’s Howl. I even commented on a Destiny post that asked “what is your favorite gun in destiny 2 forsaken so far”. Of course I answered Luna’s Howl, and to this I got dozens of replies of people just asking how I already have it or people asking how to get it. So yeah, I feel special :D. Anyways that wraps up this weeks post. Maybe, just maybe a R6 post, but expect D2.
Thanks for reading my blog
