OnePlus One
I have this for more than half a year now. It has been a great phone so far. No major problems whatsoever.
Minor problems encountered were the very scary “ghost touches” you will see when you try searching for oneplus one problems. Basically, ghost touches are moments when you touch your screen at one point on the screen and apparently another point gets touched. Sometimes it could be worse, you could get random, repetitive touched barging to you. Sometimes the touches just isn’t recognised which technically still makes it a ghost touch.
Solution? Just update to the next nightly fix.
One more minor problem would be the lack of supply of this phone. I go this from a website called oppomat and not from the main store of oneplus one. I manage to get one from oppomart which is located somewhere in China is I am not mistaken. The phone was shipped from HK to where I am. Took about a month to get to me. So getting this phone will take time especially if you are outside of US and even if are inside of US, you need an invite. So others seem to choose the route I did but sacrificing the fact that it is a US version and you get a Chinese version of recovery.
The phone is running 5.0.1 Lollipop now. I flashed the latest rom because when it came to me, it was running kitkat.
Battery will take you far through the day. With heavy use, you can tell that it is pretty reasonable with its specs. I just wish they invent a battery that charges really fast (I read the other day about this battery that charges in a minute, we badly need that).
So now that I have reviewed this phone as best as I could at my sleepy state, I may update this when I decide to upgrade or something wrong happens with my phone.
I might consider the Chinese brand Xiaomi when I upgrade in the future because I have been hearing a lot of good things about it.
