Stealth - Sonic x Reader by Nika Ravenscraft
{Sonic x Reader}
“If you turn back now, I’ll let you live,” an unfamiliar voice whispers within (Name’s) right ear, startling them. (Name), who had been planning for this day for over a year now, emits a loud, frustrated sigh.
“Come on, just let me steal a trinket or two... Zeniru is rich, he’ll never notice if just a few things are missing,” (Name) pleads, meanwhile hoping that their unknown enemy doesn’t decide to respond by permanently silencing them.
Instead of verbally responding, (Name)’s unknown enemy pushes them with a surprising amount of force. (Name) stumbles forward a few steps, and curses as their night vision googles, which (Name) had bought from a thrift shop, fall off of their head. “W-We can talk about t-this whole situation, right?” (Name) stammers, meanwhile starting to bend over to pick up their night vision goggles.
Suddenly, (Name) feels a strong draft of wind blow in front of them. (Name) looks at the person before who appeared before them with a bewildered expression on their face. “W-When...? H-How...?” (Name) asks, nearly dropping their night vision googles that their enemy hands to them. Somehow, (Name) is able to see the person before them, a person that completely blends in with the darkness of the hallway. Well not completely... The purple scarf the person is wearing stands out amongst the darkness.
“I’m Speed-of-Sound Sonic, and I’m a modern day ninja” Sonic explains, earning himself a laugh from (Name).
“What kind of name is that? And who has ever heard of a modern day ninja? You HAVE to be lying,” (Name) laughs so hard that they clutch their stomach.
Almost as suddenly as Sonic had appeared before (Name), a sharp object grazes (Name)’s cheek. With a nervous, and shaky breath, (Name) attempts to remain calm. (Name)’s attempt is unsuccessful. It doesn’t help that Sonic flashes (Name) a scary, yet somehow attractive, smile.
(Name), knowing that they will not be able to out run or win a fight against a ninja, decides to try to intimidate Sonic. “Well I’M a modern day Samurai and I...” (Name) soon gets interrupted by Sonic.
“Where’s your sword?”
“Look, a second thief!” (Name) hollers, pointing one of their index fingers at some unseen (and actually nonexistent) additional thief. (Name) nearly lets out a happy scream as Sonic falls for their trick. (Name) then proceeds to dash away as quietly as possible.
“You can’t escape,” Sonic says, currently standing in front of (Name). Sonic, as if attempting to show off, dashes away to turn on the hallway light before once again standing before (Name). “However, I’m willing to let you go if...” Sonic says, with an extremely serous expression, “If you teach me your stealth techniques.”
“Huh?” is (Name)’s automatic reaction. (Name) is both confused, and distracted by the attractive man exposed by the light. His eyes are like storm clouds, and his hair is as dark as the night sky. (Name) NEARLY begins to drool as they notice that Sonic is wearing a skin tight outfit.
HOT DAMNNNNNN.
“I didn’t notice that you had entered the building until you reached this floor, which is fifth floor. You’re the first thief to have made it this far,” Sonic explains.
“Ohh... And yeah s-sure,” (Name) responds. “It’s not like I have a choice though... Weren’t you originally planning to kill me?”
“Well I was but...” Sonic responds, meanwhile pulling his scarf up to hide the blush that is forming upon his cheeks.
(Name) slowly approaches Sonic, until they are only a few centimeters away from him. “Stealth lesson number one, sometimes all you need is a good distraction,” (Name) says, meanwhile leaning towards Sonic and giving him a quick kiss. Little did Sonic know that (Name), all the while, was slipping a nearby vase into their bag.
“Alright, show me that you understand the first lesson,” (Name) soon adds. Sonic, who gets wrapped up in practicing what he recently learned, fails to notice that (Name) is slipping various vases, paintings and sculptures into their bag.
“How was that, Sensei?” Sonic asks, startling (Name) who hastily finishes zipping up their bag.
“No good, you need more practice. We should practice more starting in the kitchen,” (Name) responds.

“I’m (Name) and you’ve been fooled, ninja,” (Name) says with a wink, upon exiting Zeniru’s building.

It isn’t until the next day that Sonic realizes his mistake. However, although feeling annoyed and angry, Sonic is mostly impressed. (Name) is truly a master of stealth.
