hello op!! omg ok so in my recent ask i also got asked about gumaoner but! i do have one wip i started in may 2023 that is a gumaoner. reiterating my promise to have it out before 2027. very unsure if ill work on that one anytime soon but it's very fun. crack fic. runeterra au. kinda. in general gumaoner just doesn't appeal to me as a ship anymore, so there probably won't be any further fics aside from that one unfortunately, unless i get some fic idea that fits the ship and i wanna write it!

as for onerzeus, i don't have any like otp:true onerzeuses planned, however i do have an ensemble fic where they are a part of the cast. that ensemble lck fic is what im hoping to cover within my next 5 fics...? currently i am at a lack of onerzeus ideas, and in general that ship also just doesn't appeal to me really. LOL. it never quite did oddly enough...? but like w everything, if i get a fic idea and i wanna write it, i will! currently i don't have any plans though.

lovely to hear you liked (?) aml HAHA. honestly once i get thru my long wip and draft list, i'm totally open to opening up requests (not commissions cus. hi i love your ship fics bc you have such a good take on love !! how do you write romance so well? plus im curious abt your thoughts on ships like favorites and what you associate with them

this made me giggle a little bc im actually arospec and very single! 🥹😭 but i guess i grew up as a bit of a romantic anyway, by reading a lot of books when i was younger and concocting romances in my head lmao. with writing it, its just like... well, interpersonal relationships make up so much of a character! so having that romantic and some would say, more special connection isn't a huge step from anything. their dynamic and attentiveness and devotion would just be up a (or a few) notches. so writing banter and that attentiveness and layer of knowing what the other person wants... the character being equal parts selfish and selfless when interacting. i dunno. i just try to incorporate very sweet moments and sort of knowing the other better than the back of your own hand.

as for ships, my favorite is gumakeria (no surprise there), then probably fakenut second. i don't like onerzeus as much, i usually just write them so i can write the specific dynamic rather than any particular attachment to the ship. like i see the appeal to them but they don't particularly appeal to me. after that i like woojojo and onerguma. onerkeria is okay but not really my type. ditto deftker. i don't like faker with any of zgok or zeus with fgk, not just because it seems slightly illegal but because the dynamic is all wrong. like arguably gumazeus and zeuskeria should be okay ships but when i look at the dynamic i cannot catch an inkling of romance there, so that's my personal pref. ditto deftkeria, but those arent popular ships anyway. i do have a soft spot for fakerbengi!! i love those two 🥹

as for associations and thoughts on my ships um. i can go on forever. i guess my two main ships would be gumakeria and fakenut? i can find gumakeria in absolutely anything. i associate them with celestial beings, the ocean, a LOT of music and artists, and general... i dunno. sea salt breezes, balconies, starry nights, and warm touches. they're so consistent and pretty. like two forces of nature together. i write them a lot because their dynamic is the most appealing to me, and my favorite. i can write stupid fluff but also my favorite sort of deeper and more introspective (cough angsty cough) works. like they have a thin surface level of fluff a lot of people see when they look at them and sometimes prefer, but underneath, they are just heart-wrenching devotion that i adore tt but also that's my own headcanons and what i portray through all of my fics, so. every other ship just pales in comparison personally. cause sure, i have wips of onerguma and onerzeus but they don't have the devotion i put into gumakeria most of the time. i fear they are all little flings while gumakeria is my main ship. i cannot ship guma or keria with anyone else as much as this. but that was obvious. so, gumakeria soulmatism. that is all.

as for fakenut i feel like they're a very .. special kind of ship because they have a lot of history. way too much. you probably wont catch me writing any fluff getting together AU type fakenuts because it eliminates the history between them, which isn't my flavor. if i did, it would have to be old era fakenut and i would have to make all the side characters rox16 and skt17 and im not comfortable writing them. like arguably i could write that kind of AU with geng22-23 and t122-24 but even so in a fluffy AU format that has the plot of getting together, that still does them a disservice by eliminating all the history. they're a very history based ship and very dear ?? to my heart i guess? im rather annoyed with my first fakenut because i didn't portray their dynamic very well or accurately. much happier with my second fakenut though. they're all like moody and cloudy evenings, late night escapades. city air and.. they're a very city couple. while gumakeria is very seaside, fakenut is grounded and earthy. "modern" fakenut as opposed to old era fakenut is also so interesting to study because modern fakenut is.. they have history!! so when i write them, even in AU instances, they have a lot of history. so aml, and then my fakenut drafts i have in store. their emotional toil is also just chefs kiss because they have a rockier road than gumake since they're on opposite teams now and they're just learning how to open up and be vulnerable. it doesn't come as easy to them. the push and pull and eventually, the inevitability of their relationship just kills me. it puts me off of shipping faker or peanut with anyone else, really. if i liked them less i would probably be more open to deftker. so, fakenut is inevitable. that is all.

i don't care enough about any other ships to really wax poetic on them, but i will try for my onerzeus lovers out there, and i want to note on bengifaker because bengifaker is such an interesting dynamic.

for onerzeus, i feel like they have a lot of layers. i actually havent written an in depth "canon compliant" fic for them before, which puts me off of studying their dynamic through fic. i haven't thought about it a lot. (well, i wrote a fluff one but that doesn't count when it comes to analyzing their ship.) like outside of the surface level fluff thats common i lack to find a deeper connection in them, but thats also because i haven't studied them in depth yet. i probably will, but no promises. i got to play around with them in aml, which is pretty broken off from canon compliant ship dynamic though, and not based off of it that much. i need to work on cracking open the layers of onerzeus tt. theyre a fling to me rn i fear. but they have that interesting contrast in comparison to gumakeria, which i think a lot of people in the early days of t1 22-24 rps constituted because gumakeria was popular first. i think looking for that individuality and seeing what makes them not just a government assigned ship could help? im just rambling now, but. i think its an interesting dynamic to explore and i want to explore it in canonical-compliant type fics. there is so much more to onerzeus that meets the eye. so, so much more.

as for bengifaker, thats just devotion. straight devotion. sometimes one sided, for both of them, but sometimes reciprocated in which many cases one will be more devoted. its two people who are somehow always connected and its a bit like fakenut because they have history, only their history is peaceful and it doesn't fight through losing a worlds finals or playing against each other in important matches. theyre subtle, but strong. a lot of it is unspoken. theyre not very dramatic, theyre mom and dad. its a very soft but strong ship i want to write more of. aaah.
