There’s a strangeness about approaching the place without the intention of seeing Yuri specifically but Finn shoves that small codependency down to never examine later. “I’ve got a delivery for Kai?!” To whatever create Finn deserves, they only kick the door frame and yell at a moderate volume for the late hour. “One twink and a fuck-lot of alcohol?”

Silk drawn loosely around him by the tie at his middle, Charis’ robed body perches at the edge of a balcony. Autumn’s end has shot the sun out of the sky early enough now that it offers him now harm to do so. Whiskey lives in a scotch glass, chilled only by the crisp air as he holds it out to the side letting the wind catch the smoke from the lit cigarette which rests between the index and middle finger of the same hand. From his vantage point he keeps a watchful eye, gentle as the way smoke billows upward undisturbed when the wind takes a breath. Tragedy has no right to look as beautiful as Sejin, and yet. “What plagues you, mon petit. Je te vois désespéré.” It looks like love, from all that Charis does or does not know of it— the saddest expressions usually are. Especially on Sejin. “New or old ache?”

            Despite the two years he’s been kicking it with the lycans, he still gets all turned around every time he enters the pack house, only ever more confused as more lycans pop out of the woodwork. He swears the place gets bigger between every visit.

            “CHERRY, CHERRY, Cherry, hey!” Keung bounds up to her, clearly pleased to have found what he’s looking for. Or more accurately, to be found by whom he’d been looking for. It is uncharacteristically loud for his usual manner and volume but if he notices, he is not bothered by it. “I have something for you~!” He breathes the words, a bit winded and out of sorts from having run all the way from his flat in excitement.

“how are you so warm?” she asks it as her fingers dance along the length of his forearm, mapping out veins in an almost absent way. she doesn’t mean physically, of course, burning at a much higher temperature than hunny ever has. but his presence? she feels soothed by the glow of it. “whenever i’m with you, i can close my eyes and imagine us together in a meadow somewhere. sun up high, flowers, all of that poetic nonsense. it is so strange to me that you aren’t a part of that world. you could fool me so well that i may let my guard down around you entirely,” heavens knows she’s never sat so intimately with a vampire before him, resting against him as she is now and leaving affection behind in the gentle graze of their skin.

Decanter full of (literal) bloody maries, and a bucket of ice tucked carefully into a tote bag, Chance arrives with a set of empty glasses to Hunny’s room. It has been a while— a longer one than he cares to count in an actual measurement. Too long, perhaps. Chance hums, hopeful to catch Hunny and the hamsters unoccupied. The door is ajar but he does not peek through it more than to see if a light is on— to catch a glimpse of the little pets in their home.

“Hunnybunny?” A gentle hand knocks at the frame, a kiss blown in its wake for the hamsters while he waits to be invited in or shoo’n away. He’s worn a golden highlight for luck.

         “Do you fucking want any of this?” Finn asks lightly, as if it is a plate of cookies and not half of their wardrobe dropped in a pile on Cherry’s bed. “There are quite a few risqué items in there and I think they’d would do well for one of your shows. Sparkly and shit, ya know? Yuri might fight you for them but you get first dibs because he got knocked down a rank on my friend list so today I like you better.”
