I never realized how hard it was to shop for teenage girls.

Sabrina's turning fourteen in a week and I still have no idea what to get her. You would think the fact that she is my sister would make the whole situation easier, but it doesn't. What do fourteen year old girls even like, other than mediocre boy bands?

It's been a rough week.

But I am happy to say that Abigail is home with me and that's what matters.  She's a happy little goober right now, that's for damn sure, and that means that everything has been worth it.

It's been a long couple of weeks.

I can't believe that she's already almost two weeks old.  This is... completely insane.  But she's amazing and it won't be long until Miss Abigail can come home.  Good things are happening and... my faith is stronger than ever.

Looks like it was some party.

People are still buzzing about it and it's been, like..two days.  Buzzing about it on God's day, no less. Good to see people having fun, though.

I learned something new today.

Roller rinks did not, in fact, go out of style with legwarmers, jelly bracelets, and perms. There just so happens to be one right here in Lima - I don't even know why I was surprised - and it also happens to be hiring. So if any of you have some hidden love for fingerless gloves and shirts with shoulder pads, by all means stop by and strap on a pair of roller blades. Seeing a familiar face while I work might just help to keep me sane.
