This novel is about Regina, a reclusive Elf, bitter and cynical, who travels the world of Pendania, freeing the enslaved Cambion from their fates, and avenging those she was too late to save. One day, a Human man named Finn tracks her down and asks for her help on a job. She accepts, hoping to free the slaves who are worked to the bone at a mine north of Mallord. However, the stakes are higher than she realised, and there is more cruelty in Mallord than even she imagined. This isn't a finalized synopsis, because they are so gosh darn hard.
