I think you listed of nearly everything that was good about the last arc in Bleach in your tags (I loved finally getting to see Urahara’s bankai after YEARS), and even after powering to the end and knowing I’d be disappointed, it didn’t dull the sting all that much. Truthfully, Aizen trolling was the best thing about those last couple of chapters
Ah yes, forgot about those :D I really loved Urahara’s bankai, it was very fitting for him, but unfortunate that it didn’t even take down a grunt. Seriously tho, the pacing was AWFUL. Both Kenpachi’s bankai unveiling + Hitsugaya’s completed bankai + all the other peeps who were fighting and Valkyrie STILL didn’t die, fell in pieces to the bottom where I guess? Kira took over the leftovers? And in comparison, the Yhwach battle went by so fast I have no clue what happened, and wtf was that end. Among lots of other issues, all of which I am trying to address in my fix-it Bleach chapter re-draws.
(but yes, Aizen. I used to hate the bastard but now I’m just like you know what? You were at least a super cool villain. Troll Yhwach. Troll Kubo. You do your thing Aizen, be Ichigo’s bro, it’s cool. Add in Ginjo and Tsukishima too. Everyone troll. Honestly, even before the last 2 disaster chapters the manga was a train wreck full of crack)
