Every day of online school is a constant struggle with my impulsive thoughts because every day I can’t help thinking about how my mouse is just the right size to fit comfortably in the cup next to my computer and every day I have to resist the urge to just, dunk my mouse in a glass full of tea
(Most likely) having ADHD and trying to read massive blocks of black and white texts is SO HARD. Especially because the paragraph readability is made worse by citing all the sources in the text. It makes it so hard to remember what I had just read. I can’t even really make use of the text-to-read that is built in, because the cadence is super weird, and it reads the footnotes in between pages, even if it’s in the middle of a sentence. (Siri is better at stuff like this, why can’t Siri do the reading??? DX)
All this means that I am frustrated and crying while struggling to read a 19-page “summary” of studies done, and wishing they made these more accessible to all types of readers, especially those who struggle!
For some reason my piano teacher thinks that we only know the song Hallelujah from the movie Shrek? Ummmm.... Hallelujah is like, one of the most famous songs.
*Zoom call starts*
Professor: How’s everybody holding up?
Me on mute:
You know an online class is boring when your classmates put an Among Us code in the chat
I’m in my online piano class right now and I’m really confused about my teacher
