Now the horrors are over I have remembered that I very much enjoy watching Only Connect and I've got two whole series to watch.

Victoria truly is one of the hosts of all time though. She used to be a pro poker player. She's a nepo baby. She's been hosting her difficult nerd quiz for long enough that there are almost adults that don't know a world without it. She's david mitchell's wife. She's genuinely intelligent without needing to show off about it. She learned how to ride a bike on taskmaster. The nyt stole a round from her show for their connections game. She's actually got a realistic body for a 53 year old woman. She's still doing a long running series of innuendos about michael portillo. She's got a daughter called Barbara. She's definitely hosted her show drunk before. Her main joy in life is making nerds sing awkwardly
