His Majesty the King has asked for the following statement to be put forth immediately: 

Just after half past five o’clock this morning, my beloved sister, Isabel, passed away due injuries sustained in her unexpected crash last evening, with her beloved children by her side. 

For the safety and privacy of my niece and nephews, as well as my mother and the rest of my family, we ask for privacy and understanding over the next few days while we mourn this devastating loss to our family. 

Funeral details shall be announced in due course.
