Only Getting Started // Open Para

Alec wandered down the beach with a bottle of JD in hand. There was nothing to do around here. He wished someone would come down and party with him or something. This island was so impossibly lonely. This summer seemed to hold nothing but disappointment so far. He continued wandering hoping someone, anyone would see him. He paused to take a long drink of the alcohol enjoying the burn. It was the only thing he had actually felt properly in a while. Even his absolute depression felt muted and distant from him as if someone else was experiencing it instead. He looked out towards the sea waiting for something to happen.
