How do you always stay so positive about fandom things? For the first time in a while I really felt at home in the fandom because more people were tackling issues that have bothered me for a while (homophobia & racism) but now people that were talking about them are getting told to kill themselves among other things. Do you think it's impossible to be happy unless you're in that sweet spot of privileged? Knowing that I would get attacked if I were brave enough to post thoughts is terrifying.

I think positivity breeds positivity, but I do think privilege makes it a whole lot easier. I know from experience that when you are seen as an outsider, someone who has something different about you that can be picked on, it will be. That hasn’t happened to me here, yet. When/if that day comes, I will probably turn off anon for a while but continue to do my thing, say what I need to say, because that’s what I’m here for... to share ideas and thoughts with other people. I don’t worry much about the possibility of people attacking me if I know what I have to say is right and good. If I’m unsure, I consider what I’m saying a while longer before posting it. If someone has something negative to say about it, I would consider if their point of view is worthwhile or if it is an empty attack, and if it is valuable, I’d hear it out, and if it’s not, well, there is a blocking option for a reason.

I’m so glad that the discussions of homophobia and racism have helped you feel more at home. I’m glad people are refusing to let important topics be brushed off. Try not to listen to the haters and if you need a break from Tumblr while they are out in full force, try coming back in a little while, because most hate will die down in a few days around here, from what I’ve experienced. Remember, Tumblr is only a small window on the world! And if you really feel like there’s something you want to say, that needs to be said, I’ll be here for you if you need support and I will be very proud of you and wish you only the best responses.

I had to reset my nintendo network ID last year so I could go in a change the age to buy dual destines bc it’s 18+ but resetting your nnid erases all your eshop purchases which was fine bc I’m a physical copy freak except the only thing it deleted apollo justice. So this last year I’ve been yearning to re-play it and not being able to justify spending 20$ on it but! tonight! it was on sale for 10$ so I bought it and I’m thrilled
