Drinks. [@onlyabitcurious]
It was almost surreal, visiting Joan in her flat for friendly drinks. He knew who her flatmate was, and that made it just a little strange. But conflicts of interest aside, Sebastian was not the sort to turn down the invitation for drinking with an old army buddy. Especially if said army buddy was still a gorgeous bird.
His priorities were very much in order, thank you.
Brand new bottle of Irish whiskey under his arm, Sebastian stepped out of the cab after paying and approached the door to 221 Baker Street. He gave a secret shudder against the cold (he pined for the heat of India) and turned his coat collar up before knocking twice.

I don't remember inviting over, but alright, cookies for everyone!
Joan Watson has passed away.
He didn't.. care for her. Surely he didn't. They slept together what.. not very often, and it sure as hell didn't mean anything. Just two ex-soldiers finding.. comfort?.. away from their genius other halves.
Still. He feels the loss of her. Not that he'd let it show. He visits her grave only once, a week or so after the funeral. He lays a single long-stemmed calla lily on the headstone, standing there quietly for a few moments before giving the marker a cocky salute and turning on his heel.
--alternatively because feels--
He packs away his rifle, the feeling of emptiness still covering him like a blanket. Stifling. Suffocating.
Killing her hadn't helped.
Two bullets in her and he wasn't any happier. He'd watched her drop, the spray from her shoulder and then her head coating the wall behind her.
Jim was still gone.
And now he had no one.

So it shall be done! :D
