Foil Stamping. A copper die is adhered to the platen of the press, which is heated to around 250 degrees fahrenheit, while a thin sheet of foil is placed in front of it. The paper is fed into position and lightly pressed into the foil/copper combination. Heat releases the foil and causes it to stick on the surface of said sheet of paper. It's quite a moody process of you ask me but the final impression is unmatched by any other printing process!
