FELLED. For #inktober2019 Day 1, with the prompt "ring".🌳 . As you may have noticed, I failed at "taking it easy" and went straight for the high-detail, wrist-annihilating, fineliner design. Because I'm an idiot, but also because I love doing lots of detail in ink. Sue me. (well, my wrist might, by the end of the month). Anyway. This was fun, and so it begins! . I inspired myself quite a bit from the incredible @willmurai for the plants and environment in this piece. His ink pieces are out of this world, and I want to practice textures and composition this month. . I hope you like this first piece, and that your Tuesday is going well! . Day 4 of #inktober2018 ! Today was easier. Thank you so much for all your lovely comments of support on my last post, you truly are amazing, all of you. I'm not sure why I made my character so sad, but that tiger was sure fun to draw! I remember really disliking that red Pentel Color Brush when I first got it, the red felt too pink, and I didn't like the flow of ink. But now that I'm using it more, I'm loving it more every day. I wanted to try a page from @carlos_huante 's book, because his shading is just....🤤 and OH MY GOD IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. I wanted to draw a concept I had back during Inktober, but wanted to create a bunch of texture. I will definitely be trying it again because it was so yummy to erase the graphite smudges to create highlights, and I hadn't used a blending stump since I was tiny! Damn.
