            smoke  spills  forth  from  her  lips  as  she  pulls  the  joint  away  slightly,  her  free  hand  moving  to  guide  the  needle  off  of  the  record  it  spun  on  ..  soft  music  coming  to  a  halt  with  the  action  as  the  knocking  on  the  door  came  through  once  more.  clearly.  a  curious  smirk  takes  up  residence  on  her  features,  and  before  guiding  herself  to  the  door  she’ll  take  another  long  hit  and  snub  the  joint  into  the  ash  tray  on  her  coffee  table.  bare  feet  pad  softly  across  the  carpet,  lend  way  to  bare  calves,  to  bare  thighs  ...  she  wore  only  a  slinky  mesh  thong  and  a  loose,  low  cut  tee  shirt.  she  had  been  alone  after  all,  and  hadn’t  anticipated  the  interruption.  digits  curl  around  the  knob  to  pull  the  door  open,  her  gaze  immediately  falling  on  the  familiar  face.  she  grins  wickedly,  brings  herself  into  clearer  view  as  her  hip  comes  to  rest  against  the  door  frame  and  she  appraises  him  ..  eyes  wandering  the  length  of  his  frame  and  drinking  it  in  every  step  of  the  way.  ‘  hey  stranger,  ’  she  teases,  then  simply  turns  her  back  and  drifts  back  into  her  apartment.  ‘  couldn’t  stay  away,  huh  ?  ’  she  bends  over  the  couch  and  plucks  the  joint  from  the  ash  tray,  placing  it  back  between  her  lips  before  snatching  up  the  lighter  and  casting  a  glance  back  at  him  over  her  shoulder,  her  dark  curls  falling  in  her  eyes.

            with  effort,  she  fights  back  the  urge  to  open  her  mouth  ..  bites  down  hard  on  her  tongue  and  tosses  her  blonde  tresses  over  her  shoulder  with  a  flick  of  her  wrist.  her  gaze  refuses  to  meet  his,  knew  there  was  a  chance  he’d  read  her  emotions  too  easily  in  her  eyes,  decoding  her  look  as  if  there  was  a  key  written  specifically  for  him  to  unlock  it.  ‘  i  don’t  care,  ’  she  says  finally,  releasing  gritted  teeth  to  speak  and  relaxing  the  state  of  her  jaw  before  frowning  almost  imperceptibly.  she  hadn’t  even  realized  how  HARD  she’s  been  clenching  it.  blonde  forces  an  inhale  then,  makes  an  effort  to  breathe  though  she  knew  it  did  next  to  nothing  to  calm  her  temper.  ‘  you  could’ve  told  me  you  were  gonna  be  late  getting  here  because  of  it  but  ..  ’  her  eyes  pass  over  his  for  a  moment  and  connect.  ‘  whatever,  ’  fuck,  she  tries  so  hard  to  mean  it.  ‘  you  can  do  whatever  you  want.  ’
