I’M DOING A LETTER TO A SOLDIER HERE SHHHHH

Mr. Dixon,

     My brother told me a bit about you and how you never receiveletters from family or anyone. I want to change that. It must be lonelyover there. From what Shawn tells me it does get pretty bad.

     I’m Shawn Greene’s youngest sister, Beth, if you didn’t know thatalready. I’m 20, but I’ll be 21 in a few months. If he’s shown you anyof the photos we’ve sent, you’ll know that we don’t look anything alike.He’s technically my step brother, but that’s okay. Family is family, right?

The two year old pointed at the large black bike that sat parked just a few spaces from Beth’s father’s truck.

   ”Bike!”      “Yes sweetie, that’s a bike.”   ”Big bike!”      “It’s a motorcycle. Can you say that?”   ”Moto-cy-cluh!”      “Close enough. C’mon baby girl, let’s get back to the playground.”

She hadn’t realized her daughter was also eyeing the owner of the bike, so went she went to pull her away, Lillia spouted off-

   ”Mister’s bike! Can I see?”      “Lillia, what in the-“
