Brand: Lending Tree
Location: Flyer
Source: Cell phone capture, May 9 2013
What we liked: Like the initiative to dive into mobile.
What we didn't: Gotta do more than just go to a link.
Brand: USPS
Location: Shipping materials
Source: Cell phone capture, May 9 2013
What we liked: Very straightforward.
What we didn't: Nothing - seems like a solid campaign.
Brand: Tower Grille
Location: Receipt
Source: Cell phone picture, January 1 2013
What we liked: I like the personal nature of "Don't worry its free!" Shows that they are trying to connect with the customer.
What we didn't: To me this brand does not have a lot of experience with mobile. There should be better compliance language and a more clear discount to make customers text in at a high rate.
Brand: Taco Bell
Location: Receipt
Source: Cell phone picture, November 26 2012
What we liked: Nice campaign with great incentives.
What we didn't: Not much - Taco Bell seems to be ahead of the curve in mobile.
Brand: Heinz
Location: On bottle
Source: Cell phone picture, November 5 2012
What we liked: Thought that this made good use of space. Doesn't feel too crammed.
What we didn't: Not much, as this is a pretty easy ask of consumers. Feel like engagement here should be pretty steady.
Brand: Fun Fun Fun Fest
Location: Wristband
Source: Cell phone picture, November 5 2012
What we liked: Cool use case for a QR code - festival entrant gets bracelet scanned before being allowed to return for a second day.
What we didn't: One thing to think about here - I imagine that many attendees would scan out of curiosity Be cool to have one type of user experience for festival employees/operations purposes and another for attendees/marketing purposes.
Brand: Beck's
Location: Beer bottle
Source: Cell phone picture, June 15 2012
What we liked: Awesome QR code and SMS integration.
What we didn't: Like this a lot. If anything, maybe the website is taking up too much space versus the other digital media touchpoints (as websites are so well known).
