Brawls - I hope you can come down from your anxiousness soon. I know we haven't really interacted, but your posts are some of the highlights of my dash. Your writing helped inspire me to finally jump into writing, and I posted my first thing last night. I don't know that it would have happened without this fandom - and without you. So, 1. Thanks for being awesome. I mean it. 2. Here's a question: if you could jump into any fictional AU (literally any) what would it be and why?

Hey! I am leaving this Friday for Ireland/Scotland, and I saw your pictures from your trip [the suit is amazing, btw 😍] Haven’t been to either country before. Fav places you visited? Any suggestions on things not to miss?

dlsakdjlasj ok so. i grew up going to ireland every year bc my dad’s from there and that’s where half of my family lives. it is a place that feels like home, to me. my last vacay was pretty tourist-heavy which was interesting, but also kind of fun (minus any...hiccups). 

so, i guess it also depends on WHERE you are going? but here’s a list of some of my fav things (heads up: i LOVE gardens). 

I HOPE YOU HAVE A TON OF FUN!!!

dublin: the chester beatty library (no one goes here and you CANNOT miss it holy shit), trinity library & the book of kells, st. patricks, grafton street, guinness storeroom, st. stepens green, dublin castle (pay for the tour), the wicklow mountains (check out powerscourt if you like gardens), iveagh gardens, temple bar, if you like sports maybe check out a rugby game (pay attention to when these are for traffic & restaurant reasons), and look i could make this list a million years long if you wanted but i have to stop at SOME point

ireland in general: kinsale, the cliffs of moher (there are daytrips from dublin), gougane barra, garnish island, ugh EVERYWHERE?

scotland (edinburgh-heavy): glencoe, sterling castle, the botanic gardens in edinburgh, honestly just....WANDERING AROUND edinburgh i love all the shops and stuff, the museum of scotland, the camera obscura (i did not enjoy glasgow and had the opposite of a spiritual awakening there)
