they're a type of demons called cacodemons and in onryxian depictions of christianity they hunt the sinners for the imps (the imps punish them) and they have 2 thumbs on each hand (to make climbing easier)

(This one's a drawover of an SPOP scene and has them both, as well as an imp named Julicka, and a type of hellfire elemental (Cathexi <- name derived from a word for a form of strong emotion) who retired from warmongering to become a lawyer.
