Chemistry counts. That’s life.

It totally eludes me how it is possible to ship two characters when the actors playing them have like ZERO chemistry. Seriously. Chemistry between two actors should be key to have a decent and BELIEVABLE representation of an on-screen couple. Is it bad to say that I can’t see NONE between Lili and KJ? I believe that Lili can have chemistry with basically everything, including a table, but not with KJ. He has it with Camila, that’s probably why production ofter does screen tests, to see if two actors can pull off some ‘couple’ material, you know? Before some Barchie fan comes here ranting and saying that Lili and Cole have chemistry because they were dating, let me make another example, alright? Veronica Mars: Kristen Bell and Jason Dohring had A SH*TLOAD of chemistry on screen, ok? Just go on YouTube and find some of their scenes together, even the ones before they became a couple on the show and Logan was a full fladged jack*ss. That’s why Logan and Veronica were so BELIEVABLE as a couple. Everyone and their mom knew how powerful that couple was.

Kristen and Jason, NEVER dated. He was already happily married at the time they were just friends. That translated in a beautiful couple-chemistry. I’m sure there’s a gazillion of examples, like....Oh! Phoebe Dynevor and Rage Jean Page? Just to give you a more recent one.

That’s not my opinion as Bughead, that’s common sense, people. Lili and KJ don’t have the same level of chemistry that Lili and Cole have. That’s stating facts.
