I had wanted to post this after I saw that DOPE Combaticons pilot that Keyan Charlie and his amazing team made. Loved it front to back, and even if it was a one-and-done pilot, I would love to see more stories from that universe.

But while you guys wait for that, uh...here’re my combaticons being cringe.

Random Transformers Thought

It's G1, so strange plot developments are not exactly unusual, but.... In "The Revenge of Bruticus", Onslaught walks into Shockwave's headquarters, looks at the space bridge, and says "Cybertronian technology has advanced considerably since we were imprisoned." This makes sense; the implication of the previous episode suggests that the Combaticons had been locked up for quite some time. (For example, they don't recognize or seem familiar with the idea of Starscream, the current Second-in-Command of the entire army, perhaps suggesting that they were locked up before he rose to prominence.) Onslaught then decides that he can use it to enact his revenge on Megatron. Fair enough. But then, within what seems to be a matter of minutes, Onslaught somehow manages to not only figure out how the space bridge works, but also get it to move the Earth towards the Sun. If he's never even seen a space bridge before, how in the world could he have managed to do this in what was a matter of a few days AT MOST (even allowing for an elapse of time in between when he starts working on it and when he finishes)? I know he's supposed to be smart, but that's still quite the feat. Is he just secretly a tech genius as well as a strategic one, or did Shockwave leave his copy of "How to Operate Space Bridges for Dummies" lying around?
