Not a fan of the flag of my province Ontario. Decided to redesign it a bit.
from /r/vexillology Top comment: Ontario's current flag is a bland commonwealth ensign that only exists because the British were salty about Canada itself losing its own Commonwealth ensign. I really do wish there was a change in that flag, so I decided to make another version myself. I used a simple green background, because green is the provincial colour of Ontario. I then used a symbol for a trillium in the center, which is the provincial flower of Ontario. Then, I added part of the Ontarian coat of arms on top, but cut out the unnecessary bits that would make the flag feel too cluttered. This new flag probably has way more Ontarian symbolism compared to the Commonwealth ensign that really only exists to remind Canadians that Britain used to rule over us.
