NO SWEAR WORDS - On The Spot #85
The Grass Is Definitely Greener On The Other Side 🌱✨
No Breakthrough : India, China On The Same Page ; Agree To Hold Talks At The Earliest To Reduce Tension
India and China held “constructive” diplomatic talks on proposals to resolve the remaining issues and achieve complete disengagement in eastern Ladakh, but there was no clear indications of any major breakthrough.
According to PTI The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said both sides decided to hold the next round of senior commanders’ meeting at the earliest to achieve the “objective” and that it was agreed on the need to ensure a stable situation on the ground and avoid any untoward incident.
It said the two sides reviewed the situation and engaged in an “open, constructive and in-depth” discussion on proposals to resolve the remaining issues and achieve complete disengagement in eastern Ladakh.
Further update on the New Website
A short update about my new website. The design is fixed and looking amazing and all articles and comments are being migrated to the new site. The new website will be easier to use and quicker to load.
The new design is looking fab. It is fresh with a modern feel. It’s a completely new design, new colour and including The CP Diary logo. You’re going to love it!
There is still a little more design work to do and I don’t currently have a date for the launch, but I’ll keep you posted with more exciting news.

More on the new Covid-19 Vaccine
The new Covid-19 vaccine is now available, but unless you fall into the age bracket of 18 and 50, you are not eligible.
The new vaccine needs to protect so that you can’t catch and spread the virus. We don’t know yet just how well it protects, or for how long. It is better than the original vaccines, but for many, it may still not go far enough.
For those people who didn’t take the first vaccine because it didn’t fit their needs, or they weren’t sure about taking it, they may now find that they’re not eligible for the second vaccine, because they don’t fall within the age bracket.
Although the vaccine does protect and has saved lives, it was always going to be difficult to produce a vaccine that accommodated a virus that had the ability to mutate and grow. It would have been better for the scientists to understand fully what they were being presented with, so they could produce a vaccine that protected people without them being able to catch and/or spread the virus again. Also, people with the vaccine have died from complications of the vaccine.
Vaccinated people who have been double jabbed and had their booster have become infected again. Now people are on their 4th vaccine. Initially, the Covid vaccine was there to help the world reduce and/or eradicate the virus; now we’re being told, we shall have to live with it and with precautionary measures lifted in the UK, cases are again rising and deaths are still being announced.
The announcement about the new vaccine comes as health and social care services across the UK continue to struggle to cope with pandemic-related pressures.
Latest government data shows almost 20,000 people were in hospital with Covid-19 as of the second week of April, an increase of 37% on the same day last month. Meanwhile, in the last seven days, nearly 2000 people have died within 28 days of a positive Covid-19 test, which is a 63% increase on the previous seven days. (Source: https://www.nursingtimes.net)
The chief executive of NHS Providers advised that the ongoing impact of Covid-19 from more patients with Covid-19 in hospital beds and staff off work with Covid-19 was leading to additional delayed discharges than anyone had predicted.
Where other countries are easing restrictions so that 'normal' life can resume, they are also asking people to be vigilant, to continue with precautionary measures where appropriate, to include masking up, social distancing and hand sanitising. (Source: wibc.com) In the UK, with everything removed.
'With the pandemic is over', ringing in people's ears' it's not surprising very little are continuing with precautionary measures, but the stats show otherwise. Please continue to Face, Space, hands.
