“No actual action? Then do tell, what was our performance moments ago?”
He takes the spitting of blood with a bitter grimace behind his mask. He decompresses his cane to slam the end down Izuku’s spine to force him closer to the ground. He was a changed man. Compress certainly gave little mercy back then as he did now, but the brutality was new. Perhaps taking his remaining grievances in the form of anger towards the Yuuei Student.
“Even simply defeating you now and you recovering later is a win, dear boy. One less hero to worry about for at least a little bit.” A pause.
“I suppose that you and a few other of your classmates with the pro-heroes had stopped Chisaki a while back. Toga had mentioned something like that… she does have quite a thing for you…” It would be a shame to take away her fun. However…
“Without you, I suppose I wouldn’t be able to give him payback for my arm,” he says. He pulls out a knife and slashes it at his arm to get fresh blood to compress. Just a little as a present. “For such a sudden show, I’d say it had quite the final act.” He pockets the marble.
He hissed in pain as the cane struck his back forcing him to drop back to the ground, his body having no more strength to even push himself upright. His eyes were blurring from the mix of tears (from the pain) and blood (from his wounds). It wasn’t looking good for him, no matter what he shouted at the villain. He was in over his head and there wasn’t a way he was going to get out of this, unless Compress let him go, and why would the man do that? Izuku had learned that he was on the list to be killed, no matter what the Hero Killer had wanted.
So why was he being toyed with?
He cried out in pain as he was slashed again and watched, shaking and gasping as the man used his quirk to save away his blood. He knew who it would be for. The girl had some fascination with him that stemmed from their brief meeting in the forest. She had something to do with blood for a quirk, he was sure of that. But he wasn’t totally sure what it was.
“Overhaul... you...” He choked on the words as the pain caused his vision to black out shortly. He blinked his eyes as he stared up at the man. “He was using a little girl... of course we would deal with him.” He felt sick knowing that the League had used their recuse of Eri to their own advantage. “Not that anything matters to you... all you care about is yourselves!” He choked on his own blood for a moment before his head got too heavy to hold up and he had to lay it back down on the ground. His unfocused eyes narrowed to glare in the man’s general direction.
