Ugh I just need to vent for a second don't mind me.
I've noticed a few changes in myself ever since I had that really bad seizure during my last hospital stay. My memory has gotten worse, I'm WAY more emotional, way more easily startled, and am finding myself getting angry a lot faster. I've also been feeling my emotions in a lot more extremes, and I'm WAY more easily overwhelmed by sounds. I've also been struggling to put things into words while talking more than I used to. I've been keeping it to myself because I don't want to make anyone around me panic, but...It's noticeable.
The seizure I'm referring to that I've noticed these changes since having was one that was actually made up of like, 3 different ones all coming one after the other, and the episode total lasted 23-25 minutes, and that was a month ago now. It's documented in my discharge notes, and it was the 2nd cluster episode like this in a 4 week period, the previous one lasting about 15 minutes. Nothing has gotten worse, but nothing gotten better either. I still take my meds both in the morning and at night as per usual. I haven't had any more clonic seizures since being discharged.
That being said...My neurologist told me that any seizure (or cluster of seizures) that lasts over 15-17 minutes could result in brain damage, and that I needed to keep an eye out for symptoms like these. I'm scared of what it could mean. I finally called my neurologist about it today after therapy, but she hasn't called me back yet, and I already have an appointment scheduled for August anyways.
Guys. What if it turns out I have brain damage after all.

@nanachannyan sent in: "You have no idea, do you?"
midnight blue eyes shift to look over towards the fellow blonde, head tilting to the side as he blinks slowly. you have no idea, do you? of course not. he had no idea what nanami was trying to get out. though, he looked almost too serious. he's used to seeing a grin on his face, a brightness in his eyes that could only be described as something seen in a golden retreiver puppy. he nervous laugh leaves him as he leans forward, resting his elbows on his thighs.
"no. i don't know what you're talking about,"
i know you shouldn't pit two bad bitches against each other but more and more i'm finding myself preferring the night version of noctilum over the day version 🧎♀️
Ever since I learned silent migraines are a thing I have been suffering but now with understanding.
The Choices That Make Us, Part 2
Look at that, a double feature! I know the quotes of his memories don't align chronologically with Sofia calling him "Ceedric", but we're doing it for the sake of angst. Final Part will actually be not as gut wrenching, pinky swear it
