OOLONG OCVERSE SETTING
Set in the current time period, alternate Earth. There are demon gods known as the Seven Sins who ruled the fiery Hell in the skies. Meanwhile, their enemies, the angels of Seven Virtues who ruled the Heavens in the underground. The reason why they didn’t live in their respective areas is because they had a war long before humanity that was caused by misconceptions and bitterness. The Sins won that war, overpowering the Seven Virtues, banishing them to the underground and converting the Heavens into the new Hell. It’s been a millennium since that incident. The Sins eventually gained a cult following when humanity is created while the Virtues are almost unheard of on Earth as they live in radio silence. Each party exerts their own control on Earth in different ways with the Sins being more open and the Virtues being more subtle. The two parties felt that they had enough and wanted to reconcile, putting aside their hatred for each other. However, if they reconcile as one, good and evil will be no more, and that will cause the self-destruction of Earth. Both are eager to search for eternal vessels [Ultimate Sin and Ultimate Virtue] to represent them and inhabit their beliefs and power in order to get them to fight and rule the Heavens and Hell in their stead so good and evil is maintained. Once they achieve that, the two vessels will inevitably meet one unknown day and battle one round per day to the end of time from then on. If they break off and stop fighting for whatever reason, the world will end as this balance is thrown off. This battle MUST go on forever in the form of mind games or physical combat, and an Earthly referee must be appointed by the gods to make sure of this without their knowledge. Their job would be to play both sides.
The question is, how the fuck are they gonna find their candidates in Los Angeles of all places?
