I don’t know off my art enough. Here, Plasmer, an insanely obscure Marvel UK heroine that’s best known not for her own comic, or that she was a literal spin off of a recurring villain, but because the name of her book was similar enough to something Jim Shooter was writing and the lawsuit got his whole company shut down.
Anyways, Plasmer started out as Oonagh Mularkey, a British (obviously) Marvel character who worked as something of a recurring evil scientist in their various Marvel UK books. In the Plasmer series, Mularkey attempts to combine science and magic to increase her intelligence, and in the process splits herself into two beings, her good and bad side. Her bad side instantly becomes a mad villain wearing the absolute skimpiest of attires I’ve ever seen (and censor bar sunglasses), while her good side becomes a living protoplasm being, capable of shapeshifting into a multitude of forms and states of matter. Her book was nifty but short, and she hasn’t been seen since. I think it’d be neat to take a shot at writing her.
She was designed by Liam Sharp… sort of. For some odd reason, her costume was based off on a generic female orc character he drew, and that was tweaked into Plasmer’s design. I myself am doing a bit of a redesign myself here for fun.
Shoutout to my friend @comradebullski for introducing me to her. He rocks too, check him out!
