okay so.....snow leopards live in Central Asia and now I'm wondering if in my universe, since Thistle is a snow leopard centaur, I should base the culture of the snow leopards around Chinese culture?? idk...that or the culture of them and the elves in the surrounding area???

okay so listen, the daughter of an Emperor has to be protected by someone. The Emperor only trusts this one soldier that cannot go back to the front lines at the moment, because of an injury. The said soldier now has to come to the palace to watch over the Princess. At first, she is not amused at all but then they become friends. He tells her about his adventures and she is just so in awe because all that she ever saw of China was in books - she never really left the Palace because her father is too worried that something will happen to his only child. Anyway, Soldier and Princess soon fall in love, even though ... Princess probably already is promised to a Prince or smth to finally make peace. Soldier and Princess want to run away but get caught. Soldier gets locked up and Princess does everything to go and see him now and then -- planning to save him and finally run away with him....

bonus points if one of them gets cursed to be immortal and the other dies and they see each other centuries later. One still alive and the other just a ghost or even illusion :)))
