I feel like cave au dream would like lush caves. Open but lots of hiding places. Glowberries have the same orange glow as the sun. Fresh water. Can use clay and mud to make pots. Could make underwater base beneath all the water platues. Also, axolotls.
I think canon Dream would enjoy running through fields and basking in rain and climbing trees, but that didn’t stop him from putting himself back in Pandora 🫠
Tragedy aside, I agree with you! He’s explorriinngggg, and he would absolutely find a lush cave along the way. And since that’s something they didn’t have at all, it would be prettyyyy impressive on the AU scale, since I like to exaggerate the caves. He would find it very cool!!
The AU version would definitely go a step further. Entire forests growing underground, probably. I’ve been thinking about what to do with them but haven’t landed on anything concrete yet. I should do some concept art ~
Ngl i think everyone would be draw to lush caves, if only because the lighting is the most like outside, like you said. Would help everyone feel a bit more normal.
Sadly, it’s more likely the larger group would make a base there, than Dream. He might leave some hidden emergency bunkers around, but he’s not gonna stop moving for long if he can help it. It’s safer that way.
