i dont know how everythings going to go down, obviously, but i really do tend to get the feeling deltarune is either ending with the light world and dark world merging with no more distinction between lightners and darkners. OR. the world is gonna end and there's no stopping that, but it's going to be recreated and that's where undertale comes from. im not entirely sure how ut sans being implied to be from dr in a way no other character is would factor into that though. i dont have solid evidence for the second, but i do think thematically the first Makes Sense with what it's been doing with several darkner and darkner-adjacent characters.

i think spamton's backstory (former addison who briefly blew up only to lose it all and become notorious for scamming) would make a lot of sense if hes not JUST the personification of spam mail but the personification of a very specific abandoned business email that was hacked to send out spam rather than just a randomly created spam email account. or at least, that specific abandoned business email contributed to creating spamton. like i'm thinking given the big shot autos poster + air freshener maybe a business email for a local car dealership that kris saw an ad for on public access at least once - which would influence his big shot era and partnership with tenna - but then the dealership went out of business in real life, and the abandoned email got hacked and used for typical spambot scams and malicious links, which eventually started getting caught by the spam filter - which influences the fact he lives in the dump. since events in the light world, and the perceptions of the lightners, impact the way the dark worlds and their inhabitants manifest, and all.

queen/carol is more interesting in the context of the idea that queen used to be carol's laptop specifically until she donated it to the library - and it has to be carol specifically because carol would never let dess's laptop be donated to the library, and noelle wouldn't have donated the laptop if she was just gonna keep using it so often anyways - and this is also part of why queen specifically is intentionally a parallel and foil to carol and values noelle above other lightners - including the one who is technically closest to being her lightner the way kris is tenna's lightner, in the context of being a library laptop, ie berdly - and only if you assume queen would have any hangups about this potential abandonment. which could be interesting to explore. potentially paralleling toritenna.

i respect people who draw tenna with Real Life Accurate Square-Tipped Antenna but like i personally think. the little balls at the end of his antenna? that aren't accurate to real life antenna? i think thats just a dreemurr special. look me in the eyes. think about everything you know about toriel. can you honestly say she WOULDN'T stick some kind of balls on the pointy ends of antenna just to keep the kids safe? well i do personally think she would. the tennis balls thing in the susiezilla minigame was in fact Relevant

a plotline i think would be funny but literally not possible in canon so could only happen within the confines of a crackfic is the idea of flowery fakedating spamton as part of his tough love therapy techniques against tenna ... ohhhhh so you don't recognize this guy? you don't want anything to do with him? sure, okay, then you don't mind if i take him out on a cozy date to the cafe, right? and why spamton goes along with it would depend on how one interprets his behavior in the aftermath of the sneo battle and the tone the story would take. which im not gonna write so it dont mattah (i lean towards too apathetic to object as a result of a depressive episode following his mania crash)
