my transfem spider-parker opinion is i dont think a transfem peter parker would call herself petra. now, my first exposure to spiderman was the ultimate spiderman comics my dad had where peter had a female clone who had all his original memories which, was, you know, jessica drew. which contextually implied that peter already had that name locked and loaded for "if he was a girl," scenarios in that continuity. of course, jessica is only a peter clone in ultimate spiderman and otherwise had no real connection to peter in that sense. so for obvious reasons you cant actually call a legitimately transfem peter jessica, right? and, besides, its a trend in marvel comics for characters to have alliterative names, why change the formula, right? so what would she call herself? and remain recognizable as a depiction of peter parker albeit as a trans woman ... (coughs) there is a marvel universe where parker is a little girl named penny and the universe is otherwise exactly the same except everyone is aged down proportionate to penny (so this either implies peter is transmasc OR penny is a little girl who socially transitioned early) but i can see some arguing that well, cant call her penny because she could be confused for peni parker!!! not to mention the streamer!!! alright. fair. okay. so. another p name for girls that a trans woman would believably call herself? peyton parker
