Husband was injured today at school. He is an ed assistant and works with some kids with very complex needs. Today a desk landed on his foot and he got kicked in the face. He was alone but had to intervene to prevent another child from being injured so he took the brunt of it protecting students until other staff support arrived. He is wearing a removeable cast brace because he is not supposed to bend his toes. I took pictures. It is icky.
