Ello! Question for OP, can we see a behind-the-scene for the drawings in the blog? I'm curious how it would look like :3

(Hellooo! Oh yes I was planning to actually show tidbits of how the collection of drawings look like 👀👀

At first, I would use my A5 sketchbook for drawing the answers, but after a while I realized it would be more resourceful to just use scrap paper (since there's an abundance of them where I am, mostly from failed printed documents and such)

I can actually use any media on paper to answer, though I mostly use my 2B graphite pencil because I really like how the sketchy style looks + its more efficient

Anyway, here's a little peek into the drawings:

My little sketchbook! The first photo is when I used to doodle the answers in it and the other is when I started using loose paper instead (but still keeping it tucked into the sketchbook for safekeeping and ref)

Here you all can see the scrap paper I used for drawing (its evident under the light)

And thats an overview the media used for each panel! For the drawing itself I might make a step-by-step on how I draw the characters so stay tuned for that I suppose 👀)

I found washi tape and I'm interested in trying to make art with it! Do you have any tutorials or advice? I have no idea where to start, haha.

*oh yeah!! I whipped up this quick “tutorial” thing- I hope this helps...! Washi tape is super fun to use but can be difficult at times-

Also, I usually use a thicker paper so the washi tape comes up easier. Most times I use multi-media sketchbooks...!

If you use thinner paper, the paper will rip when you pull the tape- you can see in some of the shots here I forgot to use better paper so it ripped haha

Start with a normal lineart drawing!

Place whichever color washi tape you want to use down in a straight line.

If you need to use more than one piece of washi tape to color something in (here i reference her hair), line it up right against the washi tape youve set down.

Once the one color of washi tape is in place, I use an x-acto knife to cut out the areas where the color will go.

Once youve cut the shapes out, you can peel the tape right off! Some edges might take some refining and thats okay.

First layer done! (you can see where i ripped the paper because i didnt use multi media haha). When going to your next color, you can lay down the next washi tape over your previous one.

I usually only do a couple of colors, so here she is! Once you have both colors, line the art piece again so the washi tape looks like its under the lines.

Anyways! THANK YOUUUU there's going to be more where that came from! The next couple chapters of the blog are gonna contain lots of HC's and might stray way off canonical events in the original game but, just trust the process... For the Current Lore section of the blog, I love writing bits and pieces from different characters in diverse formats and POV's as breadcrumbs for you all to analyse, but sometimes I can be really self-conscious about it (guess who has issues with writing), so, this really made my day! Glad someone is appreciating the loredump fr
