Would it be easier to just mass report the tumblr, staff, and changes accounts to show our displeasure? Because the email I just got back after sending them feedback on this update is pathetic as hell.
Other changes in the past were largely cosmetic or monetary, this would genuinely make the site unusable. I’ve never made a Twitter, threads or bluesky account because of how ass it’s conversational nature is and changing tumblr to be more like them won’t help, it’s just going to alienate its userbase. I have automatic app updates turned off because I hate random changes to the site.
I’d genuinely rather just fully go offline than change to this.
