Very exciting event -- please go if you can make it! You don’t have to be there for all the events, just drop by as you like -- of course, hopefully not in the middle of an event :P

Oh dear, they have all those big names in Beethoven scholarship!

And they have Jens Dufner from the Beethoven-Haus Bonn presenting! Also Nicholas Kitchen of the Borromeo Quartet -- his research will be groundbreaking, especially for performers! ‘

Don’t forget the concert too, where you will get to hear the much-acclaimed Borromeo Quartet playing!

Ludwig van Beethoven: String Quartet No. 14, Op. 131, Mvt. 1

This piece just encapsulates everything bad that I'm feeling right now. It's like his sadness and pain are tangible and are directly fused to mine, just for a few minutes. Very rarely does a piece really reach me on an emotional level like this one does.
