With Pearl’s obsessive single-mindedness and Amethyst’s emotional instability, Opal, while generally a peaceful gem makes spending time with and around you her main goal, whether it’s for some small task or a mission, she’d rather do it together with you.
While Amethyst and Pearl don’t generally agree on most things, one thing they do seem to agree on is that the feeling of being around you when fused is practically intoxicating. Seeing you safe and sound makes them feel more at peace than anything else.
Opal’s forgetful nature tends to lend a hand in her constant following of you around, always afraid of forgetting where you are, the persistent unsureness when you aren’t around makes her anxious, often driving her to seek you out as soon as possible.
