-- A fun little scene drawing from Five Idiots that I did as lighting practice! This was decently early on in the plot, and essentially what was going on was: the protag squad are dimension/timeline hopping to get away from Rainbow Rocket, they end up stranded in the Bad End Alpha Sapphire Timeline and decide ‘fuck this shit, we’re gonna try to help’ so with the help of some knowledge from history class in school, and a keystone they were given, Kei (one of the other players) instructs Oparu to ‘say the line Bart’ and summon Rayquaza to stop Kyogre’s primordial storm!

5) character you were most surprised to end up writing

I’m not really surprised because I clearly have a type of character (and character dynamics) when it comes to fandoms that I choose to write for. I usually get scared when I have to write other characters for a multi chapter fic. Like writing Nat for the first time was terrifying to me!

21) what do you think when you read over your older work?

Depends on how old the work is and what fandom it’s about. I’m still too mad at House MD and how the show treated the characters at the end, so I’m not going back to that fic. Same with ONCE. My very first J/C fanfic isn’t terrible, but I think you can just SEE how new I was in the English language back then. Everything sounds very German, I think. :)I do like most of my Philinda stuff though.

23) any obscure life experiences that you feel have helped your writing?

I try to keep eyes and ears open to observe new things to write about because I love how weird people can be - in such a different way than my own weirdness. So when I hear/see something human and weird that is new to me, I make a mental note to give my characters more experience - or different experiences.Then, of course me being an artist comes in handy when I write about art or going into an art museum.
