She attracted so many to her, like moths to the light, prying at her, grabbing her, pulling her every which way. Her fame was slowly rising, her name was starting to be known not only in the seedy underground but within classiest circles. But with every rich gentleman there would be a few (more than a few) odd ones in the bunch. ❛ Are you a fan? Sorry to say you just missed my last show for the night. nikolai barely moves from his position of being sprawled out on a desk - even when he hears somebody approaching. perhaps this lack of concern is due to the fact that, though he can be hurt, being killed is impossible for him (or perhaps it’s simply due to the fact that he knows the footsteps belong to ivan already. nobody else knows nikolai or fyodor’s location for sure, after all.) in fact, he only tilts his head a little to observe the other through almost lidded two-toned eyes.

“yokohama has lost it’s appeal recently,” he expresses, pausing in his incessant fidgeting with the small object clutched in his hands. nikolai does not like having to move from place to place, and being at odds with the local mafia and detective agency has caused them to have to move around quite a lot - it’s left him unsettled and almost unhappy. “just lying around here is far too dull. can’t we go out somewhere?” he’s asking ivan because he’s almost sure that there’s no way his host, fyodor, would let him out; not when they’re already wanted around the city. perhaps it is childish, to want to go out and do something other than fighting, but nikolai is bored. "being stuck inside is making me feel sick."

The stench of the rats stained this city. The cold wind shrilled in his ears as he walked on the snow covered ground. This time, he had been sent to inspect the situation and regain information on their enemy. Cursing under his breath he entered a cafe. He really needed something to warm him up now. 

There was one man near the piano, that seemed familiar, long blonde hair and bandages across the skull.  Chuuya tapped his fingers against the table, trying to remember. The man turned to meet his eyes and he felt a shiver run down his spine.

“This isn’t good.” he murmured.

So like it’s not reallythink with them cuz u know, they an avatar of like one of the creators of theuniverse. They know what’s up. So really this is more good and evil as how Iunderstand it from the book series that he’s highly inspired from kinda onaccident idk anymore im dying.

God so like. Itdefinitely exists but not necessarily in the way people think. Like being nicecan be part of it, but really it’s about your actions and what those actions do(granted going out of your way to be an asshole is definitely Not Good either).Sometimes things with the best of intentions increase entropy by a large scale(like a lot of communist regimes!). Sometimes it takes sacrifice of the highestorder, something no one ever wants to do. Sometimes it seems like you’re takingthe worse option. But really, truly doing good is never easy; and even if “evil”is truly destined to win in the end (which it may be), it is truly good to resist till Universe’s ends. Asone can imagine, it’s rarely that simple though, and it’s a constant choice inthe part of each human being. Very rarely is someone truly just evil or good.

Leon’s working on that.Especially the not being ambivalent part because really, ambivalence when there’ssomething to be done is the same as siding with evil.

But yeah that’s basicallyhis “thoughts” (or more accurately his knowledge) on it except in the form ofmy shitty ramblings.

The statement is spoken with ease and confidence despite her rage towards the rats for the damage they caused by forcing both sides to attack the other. Along with the intel she was given later regarding one of the subordinates leaking information about the boss because he honestly believed that would save him. However taking it out on him will not yield any new information yet it would still be pleasant to remove a limb or two.
